Biography
As a young adult cancer survivor, Claire is especially passionate about supporting those navigating significant healthcare experiences, whether that be as a patient, caretaker, partner or friend. While the majority of her work focuses on cancer, chronic illness, ADD/ADHD, and infertility, Claire also enjoys working with clients experiencing life stage transitions and relationship issues.
Claire appreciates the unique experience of each client, and is continually adjusting her approach to best fit individual needs. She is curious and engaged with, and strives to respect each client’s boundaries while simultaneously encouraging growth. Claire believes in a strengths based, collaborative approach, and utilizes a variety of therapeutic models.
Claire holds a bachelor’s in sociology and English, with a minor in women’s and gender studies, as well as a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. She completed her clinical training at The Bette D. Harris Family Institute at Northwestern University.
