Biography
Carl Jung once said, “The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed”. Never has there been a better time than now to learn how to feel more connected to yourself, others, and the world around you. Therapy provides all the elements of intimacy: honest communication, vulnerability, and trust. Good therapy is challenging yet warm, providing both structure and empathy for your unique experience. Brittany’s overall goal for each client is for them to obtain a balanced and healthy life. Welcoming eating disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, stress management, relationship issues, work/life balance, life transitions, family conflict, couples therapy, and insomnia.
Brittany received her BA in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and obtained an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling – Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rutgers University. As a certified 200-hour yoga instructor, Brittany is passionate about supporting her clients through somatic work that allows them to connect their minds with their bodies. Brittany’s approach is nonjudgemental, collaborative, and eclectic; utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual. These include but are not limited to ACT, DBT, and CBT.
