Laura Peterson, M.Ed., LPC, CADC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor who provides therapy for adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and addiction. She completed her clinical internship at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in the School Anxiety and School Refusal Program and currently works at Ascension Illinois – Foglia Family Foundation Residential Treatment Center in the addiction recovery program.

Laura’s approach is warm, collaborative, and integrative—drawing from person-centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior (DBT), and mindfulness-based frameworks. She practices trauma-informed care and tailors treatment to each individual’s needs, helping clients deepen self-understanding, build coping skills, and foster emotional resilience.
