Biography
Empathy, understanding, and compassion. Most of us know what it feels like to open up about our most challenging experiences only to be met with confusion, misunderstanding, or a hurtful response. Hannah considers the therapeutic space to be a haven for those searching to be heard and seen. To walk into a session with Hannah is to be met by someone who genuinely wants to hear about the challenges weighing on your heart in a space free of judgment and full of compassion. Everyone walks through difficulties in life. And everyone’s experience is unique. Let encountering therapy be a step to finding the relief and healing you are seeking.

Originally from Texas, Hannah holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s degree in professional counseling from Amberton University. She has complemented her education through experiences walking with people of varying mental health backgrounds including mood disorders, substance use, eating disorders, trauma processing, and neurodiversity. In her most recent position, she engaged in counseling within a jail setting working with justice-involved individuals. During this incredibly impactful time, Hannah was able to observe human resilience and capacity for growth. She believes every person has strengths that can be developed and built upon, and she enjoys helping clients discover and strengthen those abilities.

Hannah views therapy as a collaborative process and works alongside clients to create goals that reflect their values and hopes for the future, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused methods. She has experience working with adolescents and adults including people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking lasting personal growth, Hannah is committed to providing a supportive space where you can explore, heal, and move toward the life you want.
