Erin believes therapy can be an enriching experience. Everyone is unique and she strives to work collaboratively with her clients so that they feel they are getting the most out of therapy. She provides a warm and empathetic space where clients can feel heard and understood. Therapy can be as much or as little as you put into it. We will work together to identify challenges you would like to overcome or skills you would like to learn to better handle challenges life throws at you. She wants to empower you to take an active role in your change process and learn more about yourself along the way.
Erin has experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, familial problems, and trauma. She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who are adjusting to new phases in their lives, having difficulties in their relationships, or looking for support to identify coping strategies to manage life’s challenges.
Erin received her Education Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University and her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Iowa State University. While obtaining her masters, Erin trained at St. Mary’s Behavioral Health, a community mental health center where she served individuals from diverse backgrounds.
