Elizabeth’s areas of interest include but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, life transitions, interpersonal relationship growth and development, grief, trauma, sexual identity concerns, marital and couples work, intimacy and fertility issues, child development and behavioral issues, and concerns in spiritual development.
She combines a holistic approach with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients examine how their thoughts affect their actions and how unhealthy thoughts can lead to unhealthy outcomes. She focuses on what the client needs and creates a plan of healing specifically tailored to the client’s individual needs. Through the use of regular assessment, she ensures that the client is on track with their goals and development and makes appropriate changes as needed.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida. After moving to Chicago, she received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University. Since graduating, Elizabeth has worked in private practice settings.
