Biography
Claire is a strengths-based, collaborative therapist, with a broad range of clinical experiences. She appreciates the unique personal experience of each client, and is continually adjusting her approach to best fit individual needs. In session, Claire strives to respect boundaries while simultaneously encouraging growth. Claire is curious and engaged with her clients and utilizes a variety of therapeutic models rooted in an integrative and systemic approach.
Claire enjoys working with clients experiencing life stage transitions, relationship issues, ADD/ADHD, stress, anxiety, and chronic illness or issues related to general health. As a young adult cancer survivor, Claire is especially passionate about supporting those navigating significant healthcare experiences, whether that be as a patient, caretaker or as a friend.
Claire holds a bachelor’s in sociology and English, with a minor in women’s and gender studies, as well as a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. She completed her clinical training at The Bette D. Harris Family Institute at Northwestern University.
