Biography
Camryn (she/her) is a clinical fellow working towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Her goal is to provide a safe, open, supportive space where clients and their stories can be heard and understood. Camryn is passionate about utilizing the power of relationships to help clients grow into their self-defined version of wellness. She approaches therapy from a strengths-based, culturally-responsive, and trauma-informed lens. Based on each unique client, Camryn applies relational and systemic modalities like internal family systems (IFS), narrative therapy, play therapy, and mind-body techniques.
Camryn has worked in a variety of mental health settings for over 6 years including schools, hospitals, clinics, and research. She serves clients across the lifespan with particular experience supporting families, couples, siblings, friendships, children/adolescents, and veterans. Camryn’s clinical specialties include family developmental challenges, relational conflict, trauma recovery, identity exploration, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and coping with a chronic illness/disability.
Camryn earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a Family Psychology Concentration from the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Professional Psychology. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Certificate in Childhood and Adolescence Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
